Warnings and PPE

PPE

RiViViЯ should not be sprayed. Correct PPE must be worn when handling and applying the product, including gloves and eye protection. If clothing becomes contaminated, remove and wash clothing. If contact with the skin is made, wash thoroughly with warm soapy water and rinse with clean water.

P301+330+331: IF SWALLOWED: rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.

P305+351+338: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

RiViViЯon its own is non-flammable, but will become flammable if mixed with white spirits or other solvents.

Application

All surfaces must be clean and free of dirt, grease, grime and mildew and all waxes, polishes, silicones etc. Once cleaned the surface must be thoroughly rinsed and

dried. Treat any mildew with an off the shelf product or use a bleach and water solution. Apply using a cloth or soft brush but try not to over apply and cause pooling. After approx. 5 mins wipe off any excess to leave a uniform finish and allow to dry. This can take up to 24 hrs. depending on the temperature. During this period, it must be kept out of any rain or water exposure.

When applying RiViViЯ,work on areas that can be covered and treated correctly in the space of approx. 15 minutes so that the surface can wiped to give an even appearance before it starts to go sticky through curing. This time may vary slightly when colder or hotter temperatures exist.

A test patch should always be performed prior to general application with the customer’s approval to ensure the desired appearance is achieved. One (1) application for a satin finish, or two (2) applications for a gloss finish

Substrates which are coated with RiViViЯare generally re-coatable with RiViViЯ.

Clean any tools used with white spirit. Soak/wash any cleaning and application cloths or tools after use with warm soapy water. Either allow to dry and then dispose of with household rubbish or place in a metal tin and seal before disposing. (RiViViЯ on its own is non-flammable, but will become flammable if mixed with white spirits)
